Forces lay siege to Hajin village | KNO

Bandipora, July 09 (KNO): The government forces on Tuesday evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Kasum bagh-Hakbara area of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Official sources told KNO that 13RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 45 Battalion CRPF launched the search operation after inputs about the presence of militants. Eye witnesses said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed. However, no contact was established with the militants so far. The heavy deployment of forces has surrounded the area and searches are going. (KNO)
